This project was inspired by T-Shaped Painting on Silk from Han Dynasty (马王堆辛追夫人T型帛画) . It also called feiyi (flying garment), the function of the feiyi is to hold the ceremony of calling back the spirit. The painting can be divided into the heavenly world, the human world and the underworld. In ancient China, the ceremony of calling back the spirit was a special ceremony for nobles. This ceremony is different from modern times few people know about it, so I want to combine ancient and modern by designing. I designed a set of poster to show the process of calling back the spirit. The patterns on the feiyi have special meanings, and I designed the posters with these patterns.
